3. Paints and Coatings Industry

Kaolin is used as a filler and extender pigment. It can improve the covering power of paint, control its viscosity, and provide resistance to abrasion.

4. Rubber and Plastics Industry

It is used as a filler to increase the strength, hardness, and durability of rubber and plastic products.

5. Cosmetics and Pharmaceutical Industry

Kaolin is a common base ingredient in cosmetic products (e.g., facial powders and masks) due to its oil-absorbing properties and ability to bind ingredients. It is also used as a filler in some medications.
